LawTech – the era of digital transformation?

LawTech, the use of technology to improve the delivery of legal services is big news but still not big business. For a sector estimated at $500bn a year, you have to ask why? In our next webinar, we will explore the impact of new technologies on the legal sector.

The webinar will be hosted by Aistemos CEO, Nigel Swycher, formerly a partner in an international law firm, and guests including David Bartolone, head of the International Group of Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory; Rob Sumroy, Partner at Slaughter and May and Sally Robertson, Vice President of Attorney Services at LegalZoom.

Topics to be discussed include:

  • the transformation of legal publishing, and the importance of both content and delivery
  • grappling with the reality that not all legal work needs to be handled by lawyers
  • harnessing the benefits of AI and machine learning, without the hype
  • as technology poses questions of the “hourly rate” model, is resistance inevitable

Over the course of 30 minutes, we will offer practical guidance for both developers and adopters of new technology. Using Cipher IP analytics as a case study, we can demonstrate how companies and their advisers both benefit from the fresh approach that AI can deliver.

(If you can’t make it for the webinar, register anyway and we’ll send you a recording).
