We were gold sponsors at this year’s IPBC Europe event in London, UK. The conference brought together elite decision makers to discuss key policy, business and legal developments, as well as the best strategies for maximising IP value in the increasingly dynamic European market.

Our CEO, Nigel Swycher, appeared on a panel about IP value creation: demonstrating the real value of your patent portfolio. The session built on our work on how you calculate the return on investment of your patent assets using robust models.

Patent portfolios can create value in multiple ways and demonstrating these is key to bringing IP centre stage inside businesses. But developing robust methodologies for calculating ROI can be difficult and time-consuming.

We were delighted to speak about innovation and inventions powering Telecommunications Connectivity Solutions.

The talk touched on the digital transformation, or more simply explained as better access to information and better use of that information. Using our Universal Technology Taxonomy we discovered insights relating to key players in the area, as well as the most disruptive technologies.
